Welcome to the CIRENE Project!
CIRENE – Cross-border ICT Research Network
CIRENE is a project co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the Hungary-Serbia IPA Cross-border Co-operation Programme. It is a joint R&D project of the University of Szeged, the University of Novi Sad and the Vojvodina ICT Cluster.
The overall project objective is to strengthen and make more efficient and effective the cooperation between the research groups of the two universities, which should be a base platform for common R&D activities in the area of embedded system testing. Furthermore, to jointly establish a research agenda that will provide a basis for R&D activities during and after the project, based on surveying state-of-the-art, open research questions and local industrial needs, hence enable knowledge transfer in the ICT sector. As a result of the project a specific testing methodology and a platform for embedded systems will be developed, relying on the findings of the initial research and the needs of the local industrial players.
